Suspension
All Privateer frames and bikes come as standard with the most highly adjustable rear shocks and forks from leading suspension manufacturers. The suspension units in all Privateers feature their suppliers top damping cartridges with ride tuning abilities of high and low speed compression and rebound damping adjustments allowing riders to dial in a podium-worthy ride. Rear shocks on all our bikes undergo a custom tuning process by the shock manufacturer to suit the suspension damping curves to the Privateer kinematics

The kinematics are tuned to provide a bump-eating mid stroke, supportive end stroke and with an efficient pedalling platform. The Horst Link Design inherently has a lower anti-rise compared to most single pivot and twin-link designs which improves traction under braking.
